About the Author
Barrie Bartulski was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania -- a historical steel mill town just outside of Pittsburgh on September 6, 1935 to Thaddeus (Teddy) and Mary Bartulski. He grew up in the adjacent small town of Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania where he attended St. Colman's elementary and Turtle Creek High School.

He continued to work and live there until 1962, when he moved his wife and family to Simi Valley, California and went to work for Litton Systems Inc. , He was responsible for the management of major U.S. and foreign government military and commercial programs until his retirement in 1998. 

After serving in the U.S. Army, Barrie attended several schools under the G.I. Bill and is a graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu California. 

He and his wife Arleen have one daughter Rhonda, and live in a small beach community on the central coast of California.
Barrie's  next book titled : Where The Hell Is Turtle Creek - "Days Gone By", is scheduled for release during October 2011. It is a collection of short stories describing the innocence of youthful childhood days and American small towns as they once were. Barrie believes that many small towns like Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania its people and way of life still exist, even today, throughout the United States but are disappearing rapidly.
